New Nokia Leak Reveals Futuristic Smartphone

When it is announced the Nokia 9 is expected to have memory options of up to 8 GB, and up to 128 GB storage. Given everst ever high-end smartphone from Nokia to come with Android .With the Nokia 9, the company will have to compete with stalwarts of the Android smartphone market like Samsung and not just Chinese OEM's like Xiaomi. Thus, Nokia will have to bring their A game. Here are the top 9 rumours:

The Nokia 9 is expected to be powered by Quallcomm's latest flagship processor - the Snapdragon 835 which is the world's first 10nm chipset. If this rumour proves to be true, the Nokia 9 will join an elite group of smartphones - the Samsung Galaxy S8, HTC U11, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and OnePlus 5 - which are powered by the Snapdragon 835.

The Snapdragon 835 on the Nokia 9 is most probably set to paired with 6GB of RAM. Rumours also point towards there being a variant of the Nokia 9 with a whopping 8GB of RAM. Earlier, a variant of the smartphone had been spotted on Geekbench with 4GB of RAM but a recent .U S. FCC listing revealed that Nokia has dropped the 4GB model of the Nokia 9.

Apart from the RAM and processor, the Nokia 9 is expected to come with the Adreno 540 GPU, a 3,800mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 support, 62 or 128GB of internal storage depending on the variant and a 5.5-inch Quad HD OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Some rumours also hint at a rather small (by today's standards) 5.2 inch display.

Historically, Nokia has been known for making smartphones with stellar cameras through their partnership with imaging brand Carl Zeiss. Examples like the Nokia N95 - the first phone in the world to come with a 5MP rear camera and the Nokia 808 PureView - which came with a whopping 41MP rear camera sensor come to mind. HMD Global might be re-kindling that relationship with the Nokia 9. The smartphone is expected to come with a 13MP dual lens Carl Zeiss camera at the rear with OIS, support for 4K video and a dual-LED flash alongside a 12MP front shooter for selfies.

Almost all flagships these days are waterproof - be it the iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, HTC U11, LG G6 or the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. Not to be left behind, the Nokia 9 is also expected to come with an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

Just like the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, the Nokia 9 will also come with a 100 percent stock build of Android along with the promise of timely updates. HMD Global has promised new versions of Android in a timely manner as well as monthly security updates. In fact, the company has already stated that the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 will be updated to Android O as and when it is released. We are sure the same will also apply for the Nokia 9.

Smartphones these days are becoming more and more focused towards audio. The HTC U11 comes with noise cancellations headphones out of the box, the LG G6 comes with a Quad DAC and so on. The Nokia 9 will not disappoint audio purists - the smartphone is expected to come with 'Nokia OZO audio' enhancements along with support for Dolby Atmos audio. Moreover, the Nokia 9 is set to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack which is fast becoming a rarity in today's world.

Nokia is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and equip the Nokia 9 with an iris scanner. However, there has not been much talk about this feature recently and it might be that Nokia has decided to drop it from the Nokia 9. The smartphone is also expected to come with a fingerprint scanner on the front.

The Nokia 9 is expected to undercut its rivals when it comes to price - rumours indicate that the smartphone will be priced at Rs 44499 in India, $700 is the US and 750 Euros in Europe. The Samsung Galaxy S8 in comparison is priced at Rs 57900. while the HTC U11 costs Rs 51990. The smartphone is expected to be released before the end of the year.
